Rhino Patrol Visit
‘The Big Apple’
| Top of the Rock, damn its cold!! |
The last weekend of February saw the Rhino Fellowship Patrol head off on its furthest expedition yet, to the Big Apple. Six of the members, Noel, Achille, Paul, Joe, Neil & Stephen headed off. Staying in the Milford Plaza, just off Time Square meant that we were central to everything. While in New York, as well as having the chill out time we visited local attractions, the Statten Island Ferry, Ground Zero, The Empire State Building & The Rockerfeller Centre. One of the highlights was the full day of snow, and walking through Central Park was like being on the movie set of so many Christmas films watched over the years. A visit to the Natural History Museum is a must but you wouldn’t have time to see everything. Considering the group that went there wasn’t much shopping done, but we did pick up the custom Toblerone in the Dutyfree Shop on the way home...
Where to next???
