Mount Argus Leader
Team Weekend.
| We turned into the horsey crowd for the day.... |
After being on the cards for a long time, the leader team in 45th headed to the sea side for a weekend of team building and fun!!! Brittas Bay was the venue. We arrived in the hostel on Friday night and headed out to check out the local surrounds. The night finished with a sing song. Noel played guitar and John played the bodhran. I think the Dubliners are safe enough but it was good fun, none the less. On Saturday morning after a hearty breakfast, we headed to the beach. Four people braved the cold water & went for a dip. Others flew the kites. After lunch was the main activity, Horse Riding. We headed to an equestrian centre near Glendalough for some trekking. This proved to be very enjoyable. The day was rounded with a nice meal in a local establishment. Sunday was when all the fun really happened, with our first out of den Group Council in a long time. We got through the business of the day and left with a plan for the group for the year.
Leaders Present: Noel, Achille, Joe, Paul, Neil, Alan, Stephen, Eoin, John, Maria & James.
