Group Programme and Management

Mount Argus are always looking out for adults that would like to volunteer their time & get involved with the group, either with programme or management.  To get more information on becoming a member contact the Group Leader

• Youth work helps young people develop personal & social skills through fun, friendship & the opportunity to participate in planning & decision making around youth activities.
• There are over 450 Scout groups across Ireland run by volunteers. Without the on-going efforts of the volunteer youth leaders, these groups would not exist.
• Scouting Ireland provides a comprehensive training scheme for all adults.

Volunteer leaders are generous, committed, creative, motivated, enthusiastic, concerned & organised. They use their wide ranging skills, talents and experience to provide invaluable recreational and development opportunities for the young people of Ireland.
